Groups and foodstuffs increase mucus formation


In my experience, the following food ๐Ÿฅ˜ groups and foodstuffs increase mucus formation and should be avoided in people suffering from congestion and cough

1- Sweet things Sugar, chocolates, ice creams, soft drinks (even 0 calories or at room temperature)

all kinds of sweet food like halwa, shakes, biscuits, cakes, chocos,

Horlicks,

Bournvita, packaged juices ๐Ÿฅค

2-All milk ๐Ÿฅ› products, yogurt, Laban, cheese, etc.

Milk boiled with turmeric can be used

3-Raw foods, salad, fruits, juices, nuts

(Yes even fruits ๐Ÿ‰ cause phlegm)

4-Rice ๐Ÿš and outside fried stuff like chips etc. (outsiders use the same oil for repeated frying, causing toxins to build up)

Replace the above-mentioned foodstuff (mucus-producing) with the ones mentioned below,(mucus clearing)

1-Omega 3oils, Fish oil capsules,(my personal favorite), salmon oil is the best but cod liver oil is also great ๐Ÿ‘

Omega 3 ๐Ÿ  rich fish like tuna, salmon, or any fish

A vegan diet can include,

Chia seeds, flax seeds, oils, etc.

2-Meats and ๐Ÿฅš eggs

Chicken, mutton, eggs soups, broths, grilled, curry all are good for cough

3-Replace rice with other grains like wheat ๐ŸŒพ or gram flour

4- Replace raw with cooked food such as change salad ๐Ÿฅ— with vegetable soup ๐Ÿœ

Always drink water before eating ๐Ÿฝ

The above diet helps all respiratory patients, asthmatics, congestion, cough, sinus congestion, etc.

The basic principle is that to get rid of cough and congestion we have to stop ๐Ÿ›‘ taking, mucus-producing foods as mentioned above but also to remove mucus from the body

All deficiencies such as iron, vitamin, and b12, etc. should be corrected

Supplements vitamin d3 5000 IU five days a week, zinc 10 mg per day, vitamin c 500-1000mg per day, and omega 3 fish oil or flaxseed oil 1gm once or twice daily for two months
